Since I feel a bit unwell lately, I decided to go out early, find breakfast and that’s finished at 7.40 AM. Then I went to Setiabudhi Supermarket because my work hour starts at 9 or 10 and needed to buy ingredients for my infused water. I bought lemon and cucumber and prepared the infused water at my office. It feels refreshing to drink the infused water.
I arrived at 8.20-ish which was still early for me so I decided to re-watch Taylor Swift Rep Tour again on Netflix. Haha.
Green lettuce, boiled egg, tomato, bitternut cracker (or emping, not in photo) with gado-gado sauce (also not in photo). I got the sauce from my mom since I had not learned to make it yet haha. The colors are so fresh, right?
Boiled egg. This was my second attempt on making boiled egg and the result was good, at least it’s not undercooked 🙂
Now that I realized… I should have noted the method I use to boil the egg otherwise I need to search the internet again… #justremembernow
Fruits: 🍓 & 🍊
Strawberries are looked like candies, isn’t it?
Look at the center of the orange! It’s like a small flower! Very nice! 🍊
“White tall building in Bandung and the greeneries~”
If you go to Bandung and looking for food that’s guilt-free, very tasty, and healthy you should try Mom’s Bakery (https://www.instagram.com/momsbakeryindonesia). Besides the delicious cake, pastry, bread, they also serve salads, omelet, sandwiches, smoothie bowls.
My favorite is the sandwich. The concept here is we can choose what bread, fillings, and sauces we want. In the sandwich picture above, I choose croissant for the bread, smoked beef for the protein, and homemade barbeque sauce. For a smoked beef sandwich, it costs me Rp45.000. They also have vegetarian options for the sandwich (falafel sandwich, tempeh/tofu sandwich)
Recommendation time to visit: In the morning around 8-9 AM. Why? Because at this time you can smell the bread being baked…. and it’s soooooo goooood! Isn’t it delightful having a nice breakfast accompanied with the smell of bread being baked? 🙂
I bought this potato snack because I like french fries and it has cheese sauce (and seaweed sauce). It cost me Rp30.000 for a portion. A unique thing about this potato snack is it’s very long, probably 25-30 cm each. The portion is quite large, probably for 2 or 3 people. Crispy outside, soft inside. Taste good and worth the price.
I think that’s all for now, see you in the next post!
Juicing becomes one of easy ways for me to fulfill my nutrients need (especially from green veggies). Just clean and chop the vegs and fruits, put it in blender, add some water, and blend all of them.
These past weeks I made Kale and Banana juice for my morning drink. Here’s how I made the Kale and Banana juice.
Kale : I use 5 stalks of it (or a handfull of Kale leaves) I buy the Kale from Yogya Supermarket Riau Junction. I buy the Croponics brand and it costs me only 20 or 25 thousand rupiahs for a pack which is cheaper than other brands (which can cost 30 or 40 thousand rupiahs). I can use a pack for 4 to 5 servings of kale juice.
Banana : I use one or two banana depends on its size. I freeze the cut bananas to keep it from rotting. This also help makin the juice cold without ice cube. Banana also give a nice sweetness to the juice.
Water : 250 ml or more, you can adjust this to your liking.
How to make:
Put all ingredients into the blender
Turn on the blender until the desired texture. You can add more water if you want.
Finally, I have time to post again! February has been a busy and tiring month (it’s still actually). These weekends I only hope to sleep or taking a slow day, do my favorite things, without thinking of work or any tasks haha. So, this is me, try to write a quick blog post because i have missed it a lot.
Very yummy! I bought it in Borma Dago. Setiabudhi Supermarket sells it as well.
And i just get back from grocery store which is Borma Dago Bandung and found these Chitato “Fried Crab Golden Egg Yolk” and Chitato “Mango Sticky Rice.
They cost Rp7.300. There should be the Beef Rendang flavor as well. I think the Chitato beef rendang flavor was sold out because there’s only the pricetag 😞. Most likely will buy the “Beef Rendang” flavor if it’s available, I heard the review is good LOL.
And no, I did not buy the two flavors available. So, I cannot give any review. Instead, I stick to my safe option: Lays, which I currently eat while typing this #multitasking 💻
Thursday Meal: Fried Noodle
I forgot to post it yesterday, so today would do. LOL.
Review: Edible. 🍴🍜
Has better presentation than earlier verson. LOL. #noroycoadded 😎
Productive weekend so far.. I went to traditional market with mom to buy some fruits & vegs. So happy because in this tradional market near my house they have many fruits & vegs that I like such as cherry tomato (IDR 20k/kg), lemonades (IDR 10k each), oranges to make orange juice (a.k.a jeruk peras hahaha IDR 14-17k/kg). I wonder why I cannot found them in Simpang Traditional Market in Bandung 😔
These months also the season for grapes and strawberries I think. Because they are very cheap!!! Grapes only IDR 40k/kg. Both are my favorite fruits 😋😋😋
Whoaa me talking about fruits & vegs price and traditional market! One year before these topics were almost never cross my mind. Such a change haha
Other productive activities that I did today:
Learned new recipe from my cousin who cooked at my house today
